Choosing a Path

Being a smart, hard working student is commendable, but these things alone can't guarantee success in the long run. Doing well academically is about intelligence and hard work, but it's also about making smart choices in your academic career.  Ascendant's advisers work with students and their parents to choose and apply to schools, programs, and classes, as well as internships and other extracurricular activities, that work for students and their families.  We assess students' strengths, interests and needs, and then help them find the path of least resistance to their goals.  

Academic COaching

Even the best of us need advice and guidance from time to time. Ascendant's advisers work with students and their parents to help develop strategies that allow them to effectively deal with teachers, other students and overwhelming workloads. So, if your son or daughter is not fulfilling his or her potential, please contact us.  We can give them the tools to effectively manage stress, relationships and other non-academic skills that are crucial to being successful in school.

Choosing and gaining admission to the right school is essential for every student's success.
